Happy New Year

Happy New Year to everyone who has supported my work over the past year. I’ve sold more than I ever have, exhibited more and painted more. Thank you to all those who have offered words of encouragement, to all those organisations who have selected my work for their exhibitions, fairs and competitions, to all my buyers and my followers. Just this week, I heard that I have been selected for the latest Open Call – for people sited in neighbouring counties – from the Fronteer Gallery in Sheffield. Thank you to Michael and Sharon Borkowsky for selecting my piece ‘Edge and Stream’ for their show.

I am planning exhibitions for 2025 and am delighted to say I have been selected to exhibit with Art Surrey in Sandown Park March 21st – 23rd for the first time. It looks a fabulous venue and I hope to see some of you there.

The RBSA Friends exhibition starts this week and I hope to visit. I encourage you also to visit. Great gallery and the Friends exhibition showcases some exciting and emerging work. I didn’t enter this year but participated in 23 and 24. Thank you to the RBSA for all the hard work you do to showcase artistic talent. The organisation is a charity – so donations are really appreciated,

Despite the mayhem of Xmas, I’ve managed to paint a bit. I’m still working on my series about social issues – not sure where it’s going, which of course is part of the adventure! Also working on a more light hearted stream of work – here’s one in my Andalusian series – celebrating all the wonderful hill top villages of Spain, very much a work in progress ..
