Thank you Banks Mill Studios for hosting their wonderful Open Studios event. It was terrible weather on Saturday and Sunday, yet we had so many visitors. Thank you to everyone who visited and said lovely things. Thanks to everyone who bought one of my paintings, prints and my cards. Thanks to Karen Holland and Abbie Sunter the wonderful Banks Mill staff for all their organisation and hard work. A huge huge thank you to Kristen Neilson for hosting me in her lovely studio – what an exciting creative she is – her abstract expressionist work will travel far and wide methinks.
I had to say goodbye to one of my favourites paintings I’ve done this year Under the Edge. But I know it’s gone to a good home ….
Unfortunately when you run a small business who have to file accounts, so it’s been an unpleasant week sorting out the chaos of my accounting system. I’ve taken some time out having found I’ve double entered a big range of costs! Do not rush this kind of job!
Over this last year, I’ve been producing some acrylic sketches in particular of Burton Town Hall. They seem to getting more abstracted each time … here’s one I’ve just completed

I’ll be entering some paintings into the RBSA friends competition – I’ve got a few days to get organised. And then to plans for next year …. DOA happens in May and I’ve got Art Surrey in March .. but apart from that I’ve got some planning to do!
My accounts call .. !!!!!
