Happy New Year

Happy New Year to everyone and thank you for all your support over the past year.

I’ve been busy over the past few days thinking and planning for the next year. I’ve just submitted my application for Derbyshire Open Arts https://www.derbyshireopenarts.co.uk/ and am delighted to announce I will be exhibiting once again over the Whitsun bank holiday weekend at the beautiful Gasworks in Sudbury https://sudburygasworks.com/. It’s all free to come and look as is the trail, so well worth pencilling in your diary.

I’m just about to deliver a couple of pieces to the RBSA https://rbsa.org.uk/ for the Friends exhibition starting 11th January. Back from the Pub is one of the pieces on show. The RBSA is a fabulous gallery and well worth a visit. There are over 150 artists selected for the show; last year the quality of the work on show was awesome. I’m very pleased to be exhibited alongside them.

I
sold a lot of my work at my solo exhibition at the Brewhouse, so I need to get going on some new pieces. I’ve been fascinated by the famous edges of Derbyshire for some time and walk the dog (on a lead) along them sometimes. My mind is full of ideas about how to convey my experience of those places.
