February is here and the sun is finally out .. at times anyway. I have been busy tying down plans and details for my planned exhibitions for 2023. I’m really thrilled to be exhibiting as part of Derbyshire Open Arts https://www.derbyshireopenarts.co.uk/ for the first time over the May bank holiday. I’ll post more details in the near future. Meanwhile I’m having to get on with painting some more artworks!
The sun emerging and allieving the winter gloom always gives me more creative ideas. And my paintings get brighter! I have been working on a still life picture inspired by the Norfolk Painting School’s studiotalk with lots of very vibrant colour, as well as a very joyful painting in my Fishing Village series. Here it is as it stands ..bit more work to go …
