It’s March and we’ve had some lighter and brighter weather here in the Midlands. I am always inspired when Spring sunlight falls on trees and creates dramatic shadows. I tend to turn to painting one of my favourite walks by the River Trent near Walton on Trent just down the road in Derbyshire. Here’s my piece in its early stages,
