I’m just finishing off my last piece for my small exhibition ‘Colour and the Landscape’ at Queens Hospital Burton courtesy of Air Arts. All four works are contemporary landscapes of places to which I have a close connection. Two of the pieces are paintings of and about the beautiful borders of Wales, close to my father’s birthplace and where I holidayed often as a child. One of the pieces is based on my experience of a recent trip to Padley Gorge and the Longshaw estate. My family and I are keen walkers.
