This week, I’ve been working on a piece I’ve been planning to work up from a sketch I did whilst on holiday of Whitby, its steps and abbey. I’ve also been continuing my series of contemporary florals.

I thought I’d start with something inspired by black knight delphiniums. Sometimes when its rainy and cold, I find it hard to get inspired … but this sunny weather is proving to be a stimulus for lots of ideas, concerning though it is.
