Derbyshire Open Arts, Masson Mills and Wirksworth Festival

I’m really delighted to have been selected to exhibit by Arts Derbyshire at their Showcase and Fundraiser event 25th – 27th April at Masson Mills. Arts Derbyshire is a brilliant charity and is well worth supporting. The Fundraiser looks to be an exciting event with a range of entertainment. I’ll be there 1 – 3 pm on the 27th. I’d love to see you. Here’s my entry that was selected – Close to the Edge . It’s inspired by the Dark Peak.

I was also very excited to get notification that I have been accepted to exhibit at the Wirksworth festival in September. It’s a great festival featuring over 100 artists; Wirksworth is a really interesting place, some great beer and lots of lovely walks around. All in all, well worth a visit.

Last but certainly not least I am at the Gasworks in Sudbury over the Whitsun holiday with Derbyshire Open Arts. There are over 200 artists exhibiting across the county and it’s free! Last year we had a great time, lovely weather and even Central TV rocked up!

Here’s a painting I’m working on for Derbyshire Open Arts – inspired by our front room!
