Thank you so much to all the staff at Landmark Art Fairs for a brilliant event last weekend. I’m still recovering. Thanks to all visitors, everyone who said lovely things about my work and of course to people who bought my work. I really loved discussing two of my recent works ‘Sentinel of the Shore’ and ‘Seeking Settlement’. People saw different things in the works and had so many interesting observations. Thank you.
I’ve unpacked and I’m ready to start on some new work. I’ve been looking at Peter Doig’s work carefully. I love his narratives, his use of colour, his bold brushstrokes and his use of translucent paint.
My next event is Banks Mill Open studios in Derby at the end of November. It’s great to be exhibiting in Derbyshire again and I hope my local followers will be able to get along to what’s a great event. Free wine on Friday night!
