Thank you Wirksworth Festival

Thank you Wirksworth Festival for putting on such a wonderful art trail last weekend. Thank you also to Margaret at Wild Cherry as well as Millie Moth and Kate Brooks Prints. Margaret provided the whole trail with tea and cakes. Again thank you so much Wirksworth Festival and to everyone involved in putting on the trail.

We had lots of visitors and thank you to everyone for their encouraging remarks and of course to all those who bought cards, prints and paintings. I hope you enjoy them.

I have recently produced a limited edition print of ‘To the Dark Peak’. So pleased a lovely couple who live in Wirksworth bought a framed version. One of the other paintings I was sold was inspired by our local church, it never got near my website! It is a winter inspiration painting.

I’m really really busy having sold 12 paintings over the last six weeks; as a result I’m having to work hard to have enough work for Art Surrey at the beginning of October. If you want discounted tickets to see this show of wide ranging art do let me know. There is wine at the preview on Friday night. Here’s a piece I’ll be exhibiting, I think I’m happy with it?

Don’t forget I have two pieces in the Hopton Hall Gallery as part of the big draw exhibition. It starts at the beginning of October. I’ll be posting more about the exhibition later this month.
