it’s time to get my act together on FINISHING! I’ve got plenty of commitments to honour and lots of almost finished work. FIrst up the Wirksworth festival on the 12th 13th October. It will be lovely being part of this extra special arts trail. I remember last time that the trail was full of really interested and knowledgeable visitors. It’s such a beautiful place, I can’t wait to be part of it.
I’m off to Art Surrey in October. I’ll be at Epsom Downs over the weekend on October 2nd – 4th exhibiting with them for the second time.Anyone reading this, why not head over there and sample the breadth and range of talent. My fellow Banks Mill member Zara Lewis will be exhibiting also. The flower paintings I mentioned last time are STILL not finished! There is wine at the preview on Friday night.
in October, I’m taking part in the mixed media exhibition at Hopton Hall Gallery in Ashbourne. I think I’ve finished one of my pieces for the exhibition. Here it is. I like it, certainly ambiguous!
Finally I am intending to support my fellow Banks Mill colleagues and exhibit for one day only at the Market Hall in Derby for the Banks Mill Takeover on 26th September. It should be a fun day out with lots of talented creatives. The Market Hall is stunning. So if you are local make sure you are there.
